WELCOME to the official Male Abuse Awareness Website!
This site is a Complete Resource Guide for MALE Victims & Survivors of Abuse and is here to provide all the information and resources you may need if you are thinking of getting help and healing your life in order to move forward in a positive direction.
We also wish to inspire people and organizations that provide help services to female victims and survivors to start offering specialized services for abused males, if you do not already. If you are a service provider, we offer information here to help you start to understand some basics of how to deal with the special needs of male victims and survivors of all forms of abuse.

HOW YOU CAN HELP (Even if you are NOT a Victim or Survivor)
1. The PLF has a dream to develop and maintain a confidential chat room where young men and boys can have the autonomy of the Internet and get the help they need. Only donations can make this dream a reality. Please support the PLF in this effort today?
2. If you suspect the abuse of any child, it is your moral obligation to report these crimes. If you ignore the situation, you could likely face a sociopath in your neighborhood preying on you or your children a few years later.
3. You can do a Public Service Announcement or PSA for Male Abuse Awareness Week, or copy and paste this to your blog or interactive web page every December 1st through 8th. (30 seconds):
Male Abuse Awareness Week December 1st through 8th is a campaign to bring attention to the problems society faces when male victims and survivors of all types of abuse are not given the help they need to recover and deal with what has happened to them. The rate of suicide, violent crime and abuse cycles could be decreased in males if more organizations provided special services to them and we all bring this “taboo” subject to a socially acceptable level, as we have already done for females. For more information on help for males, please go to www.help4guys.org.
4. http://www.myspace.com/maleabuseawareness is where you can become a Male Abuse Awareness Week Annual Volunteer or contact us at the email address directly below.
5. You can support Male Abuse Awareness Week by adding html photos and images to your web sites and/or interactive web page from December 1st-8th by requesting these images at maleabuseawareness@gmail.com.
